PAL employee awarded higher accountancy qualification

We are delighted to announce that one of our employees has been awarded her higher certificates in accountancy and business.

Elisha Spence-Lees, 21, has been awarded the AAT certificates by our external learning providers, Damar Training.

Elisha, who started out on an apprenticeship scheme in 2012 has worked her way up to level three after deciding she wanted to uptake the training opportunities provided by the company.

HR and Finance Manager. Jane Poole says, “Elisha is highly dedicated to her role at PAL and always gives 110%.

“She has worked hard to achieve her goals and I am personally delighted she has made it this far and am proud to have watched her grow both professionally and personally.”

Angela Renshaw, Damar Accounts Team Manager says, “Many congratulations to Elisha on completing her AAT Higher Apprenticeship in Accountancy and Business Skills.

“Elisha worked hard throughout and was extremely dedicated. To qualify as an accounting technician, Elisha completed three levels of apprenticeships: intermediate, advanced and higher.

“This is an incredible achievement and Elisha should feel very proud of herself.”

Elisha added, “I’ve enjoyed studying for the AAT and am really pleased that I have been able to achieve this qualification and build a career.”

With over 133,000 members worldwide, the AAT (The Association of Accounting Technicians) is a UK qualification and professional body for vocational accountants.
